The thread of our history

We have been manufacturing fabrics since 1967, with an extremely fine quality production based on advanced technologies and innovative materials, anticipating the styles of the future and imagining the fashions of tomorrow.
Each and every one of our products is therefore fruit of our meticulous research and our own interpretation of the new trends, based on the silk-making tradition of the Como area and the textile-based culture that characterizes the district.

Our founders, Franco and Attilia Puricelli, set the pace, laying a pathway paved with commitment, attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship followed by the second, and more recently also the third generation, with the same fiery passion. Indeed, the company is a family business that has always set the entire fashion world in its sights. And it continues to do so, constantly evolving to guarantee the same passion and commitment in today’s market.

Our roots are our wings. Our activity lies on the thin line between tradition and innovation, cleverly combining artisan sensitivity and industrial efficiency. The most modern technologies are not considered a guarantee of success and quality, but merely serve to help us develop and implement our ancient know-how. Because there can be no innovation without respect for tradition.

We turn ideas into real solutions

Seeing ourselves not “simply” as suppliers but rather as consultants, partners: this is the daily challenge we set ourselves, and one which has always ensured we forge close relationships with our national and international clientele. Our strengths are, on one hand, our ability to realize our customers’ ideas and requests, both from a stylistic and technical point of view, and on the other hand the possibility of drawing from our wealth of experience and know-how to provide our clientele not only with the fabrics they want, but also with food for thought, ideas and suggestions for unique products.

Our daily mantra is putting the customer and all their requirements first. Assistance and support from the design phase to production and for the duration of any subsequent interventions.

Moments and visions

By constantly adapting and reinterpreting its products, Tessitura Puricelli has been able to evolve, keeping up with the times and the changes which have taken place in the market. To do so it has invested in highly qualified staff and innovative machinery and fosters the ability to develop designs and products that meet its customers’ requirements, often working alongside them to determine the best way forward.

So, looking to the future, always striving to be one step ahead of the rest. Every single day, putting all our energies into this job, which is in fact much more than a job for us: it’s our passion.
Every change that has taken place within the company, and every milestone we have experienced, has always been made in line with our fundamental corporate values: quality, creativity and innovation.

And this way, by adding consistency to the intrinsic possibilities offered by the raw materials, in the form of colors and shapes, for more than 50 years we have always told a new, different story in every fabric that leaves our production department. A dress and the fabric with which it is made, are not just a means of clothing our bodies, but a way of communicating something about ourselves, our world and our era.
